RocketTheme's Launcher Subtle Installation to Dreamhost

As you probably know, RocketTheme's Joomla templates are coming with an added pack called RT Launcher. This contains the complete Joomla install, not just the template, pre-loaded with specially crafted sample data that make your new site a perfect clone of the Demo at RocketTheme.

Now, obviously you may install that little monster by SFTP, it's a no brainer. But how are you going to maintain this site?, in the case your client insists he, or she, wants to easily customize the already customized sample data instead of building up on a pristine template.

Dreamhost is not using Fantastico for automated scripts upgrades. It's an inhouse Dreamhost built upgrader, swift and smart. Only thing is that we don't have access to its settings. This means that either we initiate a one-click install or we don't and then we gotta hand [SFTP] upgrade our Joomla install.

Solution to this:

1. Start with the one-click install, standard mode, and wait for the robot mail to land in your inbox.

2. DO NOT install on the spot. Rather SFTP up the files extracted from the RT Launcher archive. Overwrite the default files in the Joomla root.

3. Proceed with the install as indicated in the robot mail. Remember to "Install sample data"!

Once completed, you're in possesion of a demo clone, exactly like on the RocketTheme demo site of the month!
