Disable/Enable sh404SEF after Cloning

When cloning Joomla sites on custom inhouse servers, it happens that Flex_header won't catch up correctly with SOME of certain menu itemids unless:

1. You clear the cache of sh404.
2. You then disable the component entirely. No need to uninstall it, just check the NO button in the 'Enable' configuration field.
3. Then do some casual browsing over the frontend, make sure the Flex_header rearranged images are catching up correctly. If so, go on and enable the sh404SEF component.

Well William, If you're on Dreamhost, the you gotta do the following: 1. enable the advanced display of sh404sef in the backend, click that blue bar to the right; 2. in sh404sef configuration, enter the tab 'advanced', at 'rewriting mode' select: 'with .htaccess [mod_rewrite]' and save; 3. make sure you've got .htaccess renamed from default htaccess.txt in your Joomla root. That is it to make it work with the template, let us know if anything. best, Georg
